Introduction	I told my husband I finally felt like a seasoned Navy wife after countless underways, four long deployments, and time equaling years spent apart. He responded that I'm not seasoned, I'm just salty. I thought it fitting since my life is anything but bland. I am living 2,500 miles away from my closet relative and spending most of my time facing the world with just my loyal dog at my side. Again, with the salty, I love to cook. It has been a passion of mine since I was hired as a waitress at the age of 16. I went on from there to be a barista, a cold food prep, a front of house manager, a caterer, and a franchise manager. Cooking is a big part of who I am. I love hosting parties, trying new recipes, and making food as pretty as it is tasty. Welcome to my "salty" life.
