Introduction	My goal when I attended nursing school was that I would work several years,until my son finished High School and then I would leave Florida behind to travel. My son decided that he would make me a grandmother when I was only 36 (he was only 16). Before I knew what happened I found myself taking care of two children, 17 months apart in age, that I did not birth. I found myself putting the needs of a child(ren) ahead of my own wants & desires once again. More than five years later I have not taken a single travel assignment as I'm raising these children I didn't birth and I wouldn't trade that for the most exotic of travel nursing assignments!
