| Introduction | I started reading Young Adult novels during my senior year of college. My first introduction to the genre was The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. My mother has had a huge influence on the books that I read. She is an avid listener of audio books and has introduced me to the works of Brandon Sanderson and Patrick Ness. A few of my favorite authors include - Sarah J. Maas, Brandon Sanderson, Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman, Leigh Bardugo, Pierce Brown, and Jenny Moyer. I have expanded my reading horizons to accompany Fantasy, Science-Fiction, and Dystopian novels. I have been dappling in reading YA contemporary too! |
