| Interests | Just discovered 'Unitarian Universalism' & The Starr King School for Ministry. Very interesting back story. Pope John 23rd in his kindly manner remarked to its leader at Vatican II that 'it is a religion made from all the RC heresies'. Being a rebel that appeals to me. Especially like that 'God as God of love would never damn anyone to hell! especially not his children'. Truly liberating. More liberating than the Buddhist belief that we through karma are re-born as lesser beings as a form of punishment-lesser being anything less than a 'man'. UUA [Unitarian Universalism America] concludes my search for inner peace. Now to strengthen practicing kindness, compassion, mindfulness. Spreading love & compassion. Great to find followers of Christ who are truly progressive thru a form of liberation christianity. UUA honors & respects all peoples not one is discriminated against. I like that. |
