Introduction	Gnomes of the North, formerly named STAN, is based out of Plattsburgh, NY, and ranges from psychedelic guitar rock to bluegrass. An amalgam of musical experiences have characterized Brian Turbide’s past. Several bands of mixed genres, open mic scenes, and a record collection. Meeting the other members of Gnomes of the North in late 2001 brought ideas and feelings together in suitable fashion. Sean Fitzpatrick started drumming at the age of ten. Since then he’s been active in many bands including JFSK, Cycle of Doubt, Steve Against Tim, Sunny Veranda, Indecision, Fink Squad, Killing Marry, Vein, Fun With Tungsten, and now Gnomes of the North. Eric Rohver was once the guitarist for Sean’s former band 'Jerry Forgot Some Kids'. Having played guitar for many years, Eric has since been taken over by ‘the groove’ and is currently the bassist for Gnomes of the North.
