Introduction	Melting Pot Moms is a new national organization for moms of many cultures and ethnicities to come together and celebrate the diversity of our families! If you value diversity and cross-cultural sharing, and/or if your family is multicultural/multiracial/multiethnic we hope you'll join us in sharing the parenting experience from a multiethnic perspective. Our local groups get together for family days, play dates, cultural celebrations, educational seminars/workshops, etc. Our MISSION is to: - Educate ourselves and our children about different cultures - Provide a social environment where our children can learn to appreciate their own ethnicity, as well as that of others - Support our members in regards to issues of child-rearing and family enrichment Promote, support, and celebrate multiculturalism in our communities - Establish a national network to support multiethnic families throughout the country For a listing of our chapter locations, please see the the first post of our Blog.
