| Introduction | Sophie Pender-Cudlip is the Editor of Country Child Magazine and publishes the quarterly 'Family Ties' column. She does not claim to be an expert on parenting - quite the opposite really. She merely attempts to reassure other parents that they are not alone in their daily battles with nits, school shoe shopping and man flu. Sophie trained as a journalist and spent more than 10 years working in London before returning home to Dorset with her family. Family Ties is illustrated by cartoonist, Kathryn Lamb who lives in Dorset with her 6 children. She draws cartoons for Private Eye, the Spectator and the Oldie and has also written a number of children's books. |
