| Introduction | I used to be a shy and retiring sort, although recently I coordinated a "Sunday Service" about Buddhism. It was well received, I spoke about "Misunderstandings about Buddhism." I was accused of being a "Sage on the Stage" by way of insult, which I denied, but now I have decided to claim this as a brand. Now available: poems, Canto Kusala, about Buddhist teachings, and two books based on Buddhist teachings from the rational tradition. An email file copy of these is available to anyone upon request. I am teaching as a second career, now a substitute here in Pullman, WA, and otherwise out to pasture. I do a lot of volunteer work, including for the local Literacy Council, the Food Bank, and trustee for the Unitarian U. Church. I do remodeling and fixing up around the house, keep busy with landscaping, counting California Quail and running errands. I like to travel, and visit grandchildren and their various parents too, and it seems like we get around somewhere about every other month. |
