| Introduction | Writer (see www.chevenga.com and artist (see here). I first did artwork professionally at age 13, drawing pencil portraits for friends and neighbours. I started writing novels at about the same time. Realizing I was spending more time writing than doing art, I took a degree in journalism from Ryerson University in Toronto, where I also contributed editorial cartoons for the university paper. I have published three novels: Lion's Heart and Lion's Soul, solos, with Baen Books in 1991, plus Shadow's Son with S.M. Stirling and Shirley Meier in 1992, also with Baen. I have also published numerous articles and short stories, and contribute computer artwork to the blog Daily Kos. |
