Interests	My only interest, really my one obsession, is whatever happened to Micanopy, Florida's own Hobart Neville? He was the World Champion One Man Marching Unit who could literally form a dot in the middle of Univerity of Florida's football stadium (The Swamp) on game days. He was better than UF's band and all the visiting bands rolled into one. Fans adored Hobart and I was his number one fan. The last thing I heard was he had a pony ride concession and traveled from one fair or festival to another all over the south. The deputy sheriff of Two Egg, Florida (where Hobart was last seen going round and round with his beloved ponies) reported going to Hobart's motel, after the manager called to say the door had been barred and Hobart would not respond to his request to let him in. After prying open the door the deputy discovered only a dot on the floor in the middle the room. It was Hobart's world famous dot ... the one he had made hundreds of times before in The Swamp. Hobart's ponies were tied to his van in front of his room. To me, life has become a dot ... symbolic of the champion whose full story may never be told.

Favorite music	Songs I wrote a long time ago. I have fun singing them and trying to remember all the words. When I do I get so happy I put my guitar down, run to the kitchen and make myself an ice cream sundae!
Favorite books	The book I am writing is going to be my favorite. I have only written one sentence, but I think it is a good one. It reads: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity. I think this is a really powerful opening sentence, but what's keeping me from going further is that I don't know what incredulity means. Help appreciated.
