| Introduction | Our interest in food began with butter, spaghetti and Spain. Young, picky, unprepared and newly transplanted, we made food that was easy to prepare. This meant all things sautéed in butter = good. This also meant, when in doubt, spaghetti = easy, filling and hard to mess up. We also discovered, butter + spaghetti = a treat. By the way the WE is referring to the couple that EQUALLY authors this blog (unless it's bad then my husband wrote it). Throughout the past 9 years of being novice knife handlers we have used food as a means to explore new places and cuisines. As you journey with us we will share our adventures/catastrophes in travel, love for cooking, culture, music and drink. We are not trained in writing, cooking, traveling..or basically anything we will be discussing. But you should check us out, because the best way to gain knowledge is by throwing yourself into the unknown (remember?..spaghetti + butter). And the second best is to watch us flail around while we attempt to do so. Enjoy! |
