| Introduction | I started riding about 2 years ago. It was our daughter Kathleen's love for horses that led us to board at the Tidal Treasures barn, and it was the love that this amazing group has for horses and the experiences they offer, that opened up a whole new world for me. Prior to this, I had NO experience with horses- none! I sat and watched as Kathleen took lessons, and it was offered to me to hop on and try. I was scared to death, and not even comfortable on the ground with horses, let alone in the saddle. I said no many times before finally saying yes. To this day I am still shocked that I ever did it! I can't begin to tell you how riding has changed my life. My message to others is that you are never to old to try something new, to set a goal for yourself, to get fit! So get out there and do IT, whatever your "IT" may be! |
| Interests | The great outdoors...hiking, walking, biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding,the beach, beach glass, you name it, if it involves being outside and enjoying what nature has to offer I will probably enjoy it. I also like to read! |
