| Introduction | My name is Calvin Keinath. I am a twenty-one-year-old student from Frankenmuth, Michigan with a passion for history. While I have yet to study history at any higher learning institutions, the last decade of my life has been dedicated to researching historical topics, with my most significant areas being genealogy, medieval Britain, and especially the American Civil War. In 2019 I went on a summer tour of battlefields in Virginia and Tennessee. While there I decided I wanted to focus more on writing about the war and educating people who may not have much knowledge on the topic. Thus, a year later, I finally begin my blogging career. A massive thank you to my girlfriend Emily is in order as she has really pushed me from talking about writing to writing. I welcome everyone who reads this to join me on what I am sure will be a long ride. My hope is that you learn something and enjoy doing so. |
