Introduction I have been living in Germany for many years but New Jersey USA is still in my heart. Mother of 5, married to my best friend, happy with the over-50 me. It took a while, but I'm content with who I am, I love my life, and always find the sunshine and rainbows in every day, no matter how many rain clouds there are. Lover of all things vintage but my heart is captured most by vintage laces, silk ribbons and trims. I enjoy the old art of French Ribbonwork which is "romancing ribbons" into flowers by way of folding and stitching. This in turn led to creating silk satin garters and adorning them with my ribbonwork creations. I am now passionate about creating garters in many styles, from bridal white satins with their special "something blue" added, to 1920's flapper style garters, Paris inspired ones as well burlesque inspired ones. My mind is always filled with new ideas for garters, and my biggest wish is that my sewing hands could keep up with all the designs that my mind has stored in there!
