| Introduction | I was a laboratory technician for 13 years before I became what I am supposed to be: an English teacher. I teach 11th and 12th grade English, AP English Language, ENG 101 and 102 at the local community college and am an adjunct instructor at Brescia University and Western Kentucky University, teaching literature, technology, and education courses. I am currently treasurer of the Kentucky Council of Teachers of English. I recently earned my doctoral degree at Western Kentucky University. My dissertation involved the application of expectancy theory in motivating high school students to read. Click on View Complete Profile to hear an audio introduction. |
