| Favorite Music | My absolute favorite is the music my kids play. I love music, so it's hard to pin point favorites. I especially like creative music with good instrumentalists. |
| Favorite Books | It's so hard to have a "favorite" anything. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver will always be at the top of the list. Lisa Samson's fiction is tremendous. Yes, both of these ladies have a KY connection. Also, Wendell Berry is another excellent KY author. Nonfiction - I like Richard Foster's Celebration of Discipline and Freedom of Simplicity. Yes, there's a theme here - all of these authors seem to evoke the "simple life". |
