| Introduction | I have been living in the Cancun-Isla Mujeres area for the past 6 years. I left the United States with my back pack and just walked across the border with the intentions to travel as far south as possible. Here I still am! I a bilingual and I love living in Mexico. All the little cultural differences that can cause us to want to rip our hair out mostly just make me laugh. I love when someone tells me "mañana" when I know full well they have no intentions of doing whatever it is tomorrow- I always call them on it and make a joke and then I usually get a more honest answer of when. I guess it's all just a matter of how you work the system LOL! |
