| Introduction | Self references are very problematic but I like to see myself as broadminded. There are not many Swedes that beat me in Trivial Pursuit. I've studied on university level in subjects ranging from Business economics, Political economics, Journalism, Social work. I've worked as teacher and social worker. Right now I'm working as a broker/gatekeeper between a university institution and the IT-departement in a small Swedish university. My interests off work is primarily mushroom and fish hunting. I'm far from the complete angler but on edible mushroom gathering I beat almost anyone. I'm one of a couple of hundred certified mushroom consultants in Sweden. My reading interest is divided among a diversity of fields: philosophy, crime, memoirs and history. Writers that I like: Nagoiub Mahfouz, James Ellroy, Väinö Linna, Shakespeare, Peter Robinson, Norman Mailer, John Steinbeck (early works), Salman Rushdie, Antonio Tabucchi, Leonardo Sciascia etc. My main interest at home, when not reading or sleeping or eating or socialising, is finding and testing freeware of all kinds minus games. |
