| Introduction | Time flies even at the beach! Olivia is three and a half weeks old and doing new things everyday. She has longer periods of awake time and is very interactive with us. She smiles all the time and makes all kinds of sweet baby sounds in response to you when you talk to her. Although she isn't sleeping very much at night, she's nursing beautifully and gaining weight each day. Beth is blissfully happy at home with Olivia and enjoys the chance to nap in the afternoon with her since we don't sleep much at night. Being a mommy is even better than Beth had imagined! I'm working a few different jobs right now. I have a couple hours at home most afternoons, I sure do enjoy those precious hours. Normally Olivia will asleep so I hold her and eat my lunch. Though we don't get to sleep before midnight Olivia has some awake time between 10pm and midnight so I enjoy the time with her then too.Even though I am not home all that much I enjoy giving Beth the opportunity to stay home with Olivia. |
