| Introduction | For my fiftieth birthday in 2007, I went to Japan. Before I went, I tried to learn a few phrases of Japanese so I could more easily travel. That was all it took. I became fascinated with the Japanese language, which, while very logical and regular, is so different from English and other mostly European languages I had studied before. So, since that time, I have been working on Japanese. My goal is to read a Japanese novel before I'm 65. Wish me luck! |
