| Interests | Here's the simple picture editing method I use. It's free. I browse the pictures from my camera with "Windows Picture and Fax viewer". To edit a picture I press CTRL-E (or click 2nd icon from right), which takes me to paint. Often here I shrink the pic by %50 using CTRL-W (or Image, Stretch/Skew) and enter 50 in the Stretch Horizontal and Vertical. Then I click the "Select" (dotted box icon) and I mark (left-click drag) a bounding rectangle of the part I want to keep. CTRL-C to save it. Then it's best to change the attribute (CTRL-E) and pick any small number (like 2) for the Width and Height, and click OK. Nowe we have a tiny image in the upper left corner - CTRL-V to paste and there is no "extra" bands. This is why CTRL-E was needed. Finally, File, Save As and put the pic somewhere else. I use a blogspot dir to keep all the pics on the blog. That's it! |
