Introduction	I am blessed with a wonderful life, full of everything of which I could have ever dreamed and wanted. These include, but not limited to: my wonderful husband Justin, a mother who would do anything for me, a bounty of family and friends, 2 cats and a dog, a beautiful home and the drive to keep going no matter what life brings. Over the past several months, my lung function has continued to decline and not improve due to my cystic fibrosis. So I have started the process of being eligible for a double lung transplant at Duke University Medical Center in Durham NC. I recently went out of work as a clinical dietitian to become a full-time lung transplant patient - focusing on keeping myself well, going to numerous appointments, starting pulmonary rehab ... with a little housewife-ing thrown in to keep us entertained. The life changes are not easy, or fun, or pleasant, or comfortable. But I have to believe it will be worth it :-)
