Occupation Assistant Pastor
Location AL, United States
Introduction I grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and served in the business and church community for 13 years prior to attending Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Currently I am the Assistant Pastor at First Presbyterian Church and the Stated Clerk of Providence Presbytery. While working in the business community I centered upon the building of a long term relationships. I oversaw 120 employees, managing daily activities and developed technical and leadership duties. Through working with churches I have built and managed teams, set plans and strategies for development. I have developed parent education, teaching adult Sunday school classes, leading small groups, men’s discipleship groups and pastoral care. I also, give oversight and direction to the office staff on daily operations along with guiding special projects. My desire is to coach, shepherd and lead people into a deeper relationship with Christ as they are leading others. I believe it is important to help the church grow in the understanding of living in community and raising a generation of believers who are true followers of Christ.
