| Introduction | After amassing a huge HECS debt, I tossed the PhD studies in history and took a career swerve. I joined the family business - something I'd sworn I would never do - Accounting? How boring! 16 years later, I'm still here, I'm part-owner, and I'm managing our multi award winning (yay us) in-house Financial Planning division. I also have my own local radio programs; You and Your Business – every 2nd Tuesday of the month after the 3pm news, and You and Your Money – every 3rd Thursday of the month after the 12pm news (Radio Eastern 98.1FM). Most importantly, I am having an absolute blast helping people manage their finances. I specialise in advising surburbanites on how to invest, how to save, and sometimes how to spend, money. My philosophy is that financial planning should be practical, interesting, and unpretentious. Money should be fun, not stressful. So let's have some fun! |
