| Introduction | I was eight when I was first exposed to computers. I fell in love with the idea of computer graphics and virtual objects. I spent a lot of my younger years poking away at the keyboard, learning programming in an attempt to replicate what I'd seen in movies. In college, I found a giant REAL world full of things to design 'virtually' and then move them outside the "box" and into the physical world. I have a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Washington. I develope products from concept through to mass production, specializing in high-tech toys, gadgets, and gizmos. Happily, I will design anything from heavy equipment to house wares. Design is Design, I say - it's simply a matter of identifying the requirements and knowing how to fulfill them. If I don't know about it already, I can't wait to learn... And if there isn't time to learn, I'm sure I know someone who can help that already knows. I also do some software development; plug-ins for the CG/CAD programs I use, and small utilities. I love what I do, and will continue to do it until I simply can't see any more. |
