| Introduction | Trestle is a mask and physical theatre company based in St Albans, at Trestle Arts Base. Trestle has been making innovative and inspirational physical storytelling theatre since 1981. For 25 years, we worked mainly with full masks. Over the past 7 years, we have collaborated with UK and international artists, from Spain, Eastern Europe, Africa and India, unifying movement, music and text to create compelling theatrical experiences. Our productions engage a diverse range of audiences and reach out to as many people as possible. Trestle is one of the leading providers of school workshops, teacher training and participation programmes in the country. We run mask, half mask and physical theatre workshops and residencies nationally and internationally. |
