Introduction	I am a senior at Indiana University majoring in Secondary English/Language Arts Education and minoring in Creative Writing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors, reading, writing, and fencing sabre. Poetry is my passion, though I do occasionally indulge in writing fantasy fiction trilogies and creative nonfiction. During the school year, I can often be found whitewater rafting down rivers, climbing rocks, crawling through caves, skiing down slopes, and curled up in a tent reading a good book in ridiculously cold weather. My obsessions include penguins, Star Wars, anything Shakespeare, and helping others. I have an amazing boyfriend of over four years, and I live in Indy with my parents, my younger brother Jacob, and my grandmother (who's been living with us for several years now...I love her so much!). For those of you who have been following my blog from the beginning, I am sad to report that I lost my beautiful golden hamster, Hamlet, during October of last year. He will be greatly missed, but I know he had a happy and long life!!!
