| Introduction | Hi, I am Sui from Hong Kong and I am studying Bachelor of Arts (International Studies)/ Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in History and Accounting. I love participating in extracurricular activities and am currently involved with Doncaster Writers’ Circle, Deakin Futsal Club, playing field hockey for Knox Hockey Club in Metro 3/4 and playing inline hockey in Rollercity Bayswater. I received a runner-up MVP award in Metro 4 in Field Hockey last year. Moreover, I started the Duke of Edinburgh Award 2 years ago andam in progress of achieving Gold Award. This participation in extracurricular activities has improved my health, assisted my social skills and enhanced my results. I also love to listen to classical music, especially opera, mezzo-soprano and soprano. I think the best aspect of studying at Deakin is the lecturers and tutors because I am an international student and English is not my first language. The advice that I would give to any commencing student is to prepare yourself to the new environment and do not be afraid to ask questions. |
