| Introduction | "Seek justice, encourage the oppressed, defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow." Isaiah 1:17 God's call on my life to serve orphans and vulnerable children began at birth. His purpose for my life from the very beginning was to serve Him through ministry to and for orphans, vulnerable children and widows. While the call is broad, and God has provided opportunities of service both locally and in developing nations, I have been drawn to Africa and africans as long as I can remember. I have been blessed to serve orphans and vulnerable children in a variety of roles with Childcare Worldwide and Royal Family Kids' Camp. The kids that God has brought my way have been an incredible source of joy and blessing for me. The joy that I have in serving these kids is in direct relation to the opportunity of fulfilling God's call on my life. I am thankful for every opportunity and blessing that God has brought my way - and look forward to the new opportunities that He has in store for my personal mission to continue to pursue His call on my life to live out Isaiah 1:17. |
