| Introduction | My name is Monica Trautman and I am a second year education student. I am majoring in elementary and minoring in French. I grew up on a cattle and grain farm just outside of Rimbey Alberta.Along with my parents brother and two sisters I really enjoyed living on our farm except for the fact that I am allergic to hay dust and horses! All through high school I was a very active individual and played on both a basketball and soccer team. Since coming to Red Deer College I have also taken up cross country running and Ashtanga Yoga. In my free time I really enjoy pursuing my hobbies which include reading and photography. I also really enjoy being outdoors.In the summer I like to go hiking or swimming and in the winter I like to skating. I have been very blessed with opportunities to travel. However the best vacation I ever went on when I was sixteen and got to go to Europe. Through our travels I got to visit the amazing cities of Paris, Amsterdam, Delft, Brussels and Brugge.The best part of the trip was staying with my Belgian family and getting a real sense of the culture. |
