| Introduction | My beloved border collie, Olive, passed away in May of 2025. At my friend Nanne’s farm in Maine Selkie had been the breeding dog but at nine years old she was at the end of her breeding years. Nanne thought living with me would be a good retirement option for Selkie. I accepted, and took Nanne back with me to Connecticut in August. Different from Olive in many ways but very sweet and affectionate, Selkie is now an urban house dog with a human to look after full time. |
