| Introduction | A life-long dog lover. The year I was born my parents got "Mickey" a little English bull pup, and so we grew up together. Then when I was around the age of 12 or 13, my Grandparents gave me a Chihuahua named "Tiny". Much later my Mother had a miniature Poodle she called "Jacques". And for my Mum's 80th birthday I surprised her with a little Chihuahua named "Honey". Finally in 2003 I was home enough to raise a French bulldog "Kobey-Rose" that was the love of my life. I even became the Organizer of FRENCH BULLDOG NYC on Meetup.com, which is a monthly meetup social group. Unfortunately Kobey-Rose developed cancer and quickly left the planet on January 14 2009. But not before letting me know she would be waiting for me by the door, as always, on the other side. I continue to organize FBNYC in her honor. |
