Introduction	My father was a chef, my parents owned and operated 6 successful restaurants in Australia. I grew up in the restaurants. If you gave me the choice of a 3 star michelin restaurant to dine in or an excellent home cooked meal, I would choose the latter. I am a restaurant manager and have been for 15 years. I love to cook, I loved watching my father cooking for hundreds of people in that busy environment, I loved the way he would open up the pantry and with only a few ingredients make something tasty out of nothing. I was so impressed, I started asking questions, lots of them and then when I chose a career in hospitality, I would constantly watch, listen and learn from chefs. On my days off, I love to have friends over and I will cook for them. I never cook the same thing twice. Always trying new recipes and developing old ones. It is my passion, my creative outlet, my way of relaxing, scouring recipe books, going to the markets, planning what to cook next and now I can write about it too.
