| Introduction | Howdy, and welcome. I'm glad you're here. I am a technical writer for a manufacturing company and the author of, thus far, 2 novels (Hatchings (sf/horror) & Fire On The Suns (military space opera), several novelettes (Code of Law, Survival, Plowshares (forthcoming)), and numerous short stories (The Meadow, After Action Report, The Light of an Oncoming Train, Infection, and others). I mainly write darker sf or sf/horror, but have been known to branch out into western parody (Showdown), and other areas. As a technical writer at my day-job, I write work instructions, do database maintenance and 3D illustrations, installation instructions, and pretty much anything else the company (APSCO, Inc) needs me to do. I love my day job because of the challenges it throws my way almost every day. About the only thing I don't like about it is it takes me away from writing my other stuff so I tend to be very slow in completing short stories and novels. Anyway, that's a little bit about me (barely touches the surface really). C'mon in, relax, and enjoy (or not) my blog. I'm working on it, so please be patient with me. |
