| Introduction | Our family's journey raising daughters, one with neuromuscular disease, one without, and how we muddle through hoping to do the best for them both Sissy is almost 7 and has Spinal Muscular Atrophy II, a genetic neuromuscular disease. She is funny, imaginative and loves horses. She can do anything she wants and drives her pink wheelchair without fear. "The Princess" is 3 and she is ham with a capital "H" she is the one to make us laugh when things have gone wrong. She has a fiesty temper and a sweet side too. If she could turn into Ariel or Sleeping Beauty today she would without hestitation I am a former nurse, who plays one at home now. I love to bakewith my girls,craft, decorate and and lucky to be married to the best husband ever! |
