| Introduction | I began my teaching career in Indiana as head teacher in a private nursery school/kindergarten and that is when I completed my Masters in Early Childhood Education. After numerous moves throughout the Midwest, I came to my current elementary where I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders over the past 20 years. I had an opportunity to move into the school media center two years ago while completing the licensure requirements and it has been a wonderful experience. My classroom background has been invaluable and it has been expecially rewarding to immediately apply what I am learning at WSU to the media center setting where I work. |
