| Introduction | I am 58, passionate about wellness, healthy living, meditation, yoga, spirituality, and holistic remedies. I started out in life with many physical issues and a Grandfather (Dr. Samuel K. Hockings) who was a Naprapath, Chiropractor and an Aquarian Age Healer. Lucky for me he was more than willing to share his talent and wisdom with me for as long as he was able. At the time of his death I became a student of "The School for Personal and Spiritual Transformation" for 3-1/2 years. My classes involved learning massage techniques, reflexology, acupressure, chakra healing, Light Body, and other physical as well as subtle energy healing modalities. Having been blessed with a sensitive body, these last few years as I stumble into menopause have been very interesting. I suspect that I am being invited to tune into my body and take the best care of myself ever so that I can embrace the second half of my life with joy and vitality. Honoring Menopause is about my personal journey and what I am learning along the way with respect to the physical aspects of menopause as well as the spiritual perspective. |
