| Introduction | I live with my two English Bulldogs on a small island in the Atlantic Ocean. It is not nearly as romantic as it may at first sound. "Casa Cognito" is a take-off on a Tom Robbins book, "Casa Incognito." I chose the name because - if 'incognito' means that nobody knows you - I like the idea of having a house where you can be who you really are. Also, because the word 'Cognito' makes me think of the word 'cognition,' and I hope this turns out to be a place to do some thinking. |
