| Introduction | I'm mom to three children: Lillianna, 8; Chloe, 6; and Joshua, 2. Lilli has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and autism, and she has a seizure disorder. She is non verbal, on a special diet (specific carbohydrate) and learned to walk at age 3. We are constantly looking for new ways to communicate with Lilli. We are teaching her to spell so she can type to us on an ipad. It is an AMAZING experience to finally hear her "voice." There is so much to tell about Lilli and our journey with her. Thanks for joining me as I strive to find hope each day in raising my child with special needs along with two other children. I hope to encourage other parents who have children with special needs and humbly share what I have learned. |
