About me

Occupation caregiver, writer
Location Georgia, United States
Introduction Craig and I (Nannette) are a Christian, married couple with 2 grown daughters whom we homeschooled. Our younger daughter, Lauren, has autism, so we still homeschool, if defined as "working hard daily with vision and purpose to broaden another human being’s opportunities in life.” Craig and I have always been happy together, but have discovered marriage beyond 20 years can be phenomenal. Probably the key to that is facing the world, and all its obstacles, as a duo—always turning toward each other instead of away. We both find our joy in the people, animals, hobbies and surprising discoveries of our lives. And I love to write. I've put out a few freelance pieces over the years, but my greatest written accomplishment is my book, Dancing in Cornmeal: Life with Autism, published in 2002. Craig and I both hope I’ll someday follow it up with a book worthy of the subtitle: "She's Cured! She's Cured!"
