| Introduction | I am an evolutionary biologist and social scientist interested in the complex interplay between informal norm-based institutions and formal rule-based institutions. I am currently a post-doctoral research fellow studying the evolution of social complexity at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis.
