Introduction A certified jukebox and Kingstress in the making that derives from a small hidden teahouse called LDN. I live for good food, good company, Orange juice and loaves of freshly baked bread from Paris. And of course the things I refuse to live without include my Itouch, Granny earrings, thrift shops, Starbucks and vintaaage clothes....my bloody heart relies on its calptivating layers, hiccuping softly beneath its old but delicate bosoms. SEXY TIMES.
Interests God, Italia Vogue, hench novels, Thrift shops, writing like everyday, men shirts, orange juice, Starbucks, the rain, photography Malboros, big t-shirts, vintage shoes, Bricklane croissants (did I spell that right?), French films, Matt Lucas, Grace Jones, IKEA, sexy times with friends, distressed dresses, old boots, the plant that I just brought from IKEA and talk to every now and again, my best friend and boyfriend Will
Favorite Movies BAHHHH this is a hard one...all I know is I love, love, love independent films. Like I watched '500 days of Summer' (Dir: Marc Webb) last week and fell in love as well as made enemies with its truth. And of course Skin by Anthony Fabian is a gentle yet powerful story that touches on the apartheid in South Africa.
Favorite Music I love a bit of everything from my dear Mozart to classic blues and jazz singer Dinah Washington (whom might I add, is a beautiful and rare talent) to indie band The Maccabees ('First Love' is my first love!) and everything else inbetween. At the moment I've currently got my eyes on Hip Hop artist Asher Roth and of course the siiick band of the mo' Empire of the Sun. RADICAL HAPPINESS.
Favorite Books OK. So I understand there are writers who can write out there but I'm sick of hearing the same names (which I shan't name for legal reasons of course) but real books that are rich in language, spark imagery and are morally useful no longer get the attention they deserve. And in that earthful sad pile lyes the bright Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie with the beautiful classics: 'Purple Hibiscus' and 'Half of a Yellow Sun'.
