Introduction	After 30 years as a fish hobbyist, I decide to concentrate my hobby to keep, breed, and learn as much as possible about songbirds especially white-rumped shama. Why? because I am fall in love with the bird when viewing one from my friend's house and I become crazy about it every since. White-rumped shama is a spectacular songbird that alarmingly disappear in Asia jungle. Pet trade is one of the biggest reason for the decline of this great songbird in its native land beside destructive of land forest, but irresponsible trapping and un-educated bird hobbyist who buying on impulse is the main cause as this special bird has its special need that not everyone can provide. My goal is to learn as much as possible everything about this bird and share what I learn about them so that whoever interests in keeping this bird can have good enough knowledge to provide the bird a happy life in captive environment. Breeding the white-rumped shama in captive environment is my other goal to protect wild bird population and satisfy the demand of bird hobbyist who want to keep this wonderful songbird.
