Introduction	I moved to Arizona from Pennsylvania in the summer of 1993. I have moved away from this place many times, but I keep coming back. The desert took hold of me, and is now my home in a way even I can't quite explain. If you've ever experienced a place that forced you recognize and accept your own insignificance, then you understand. If you've ever smelled the desert after a summer thunderstorm, then you understand. If you've ever heard the voices of ancient things in the wind, or seen a mountain range float, or watch a cactus breathe, then you understand. I like to explore this strange, familiar land from the saddle of my mountainbike. Come along for the ride - discovery is there, right around the next corner, over the next edge, beyond the next ridge. I look forward to seeing you out there.
