| Introduction | I believe I attended my first hockey game on March 14, 1965 at the OLD Madison Square Garden. I had originally thought Pit Martin had a hat trick, but I was 10 at the time. Turns out my first game, as far as I can tell, was a 6-4 win for the Montreal Canadiens over the NY Rangers. This began my insatiable appetite for knowledge of the obscure. I moved to Los Angeles in January, 1976 and was handed season seats to the LA Kings for the next seven years. I probably missed no more than seven home games over that period of time. Since then, hockey has eclipsed baseball as my primary sport, and I tend to watch a minimum of one game per night (thank you Tivo, thank you Replay, thank you three televisions.) I deserted LetsGoKings.com about four years ago for "intensely personal reasons," and recently was removed from HFBoards.com for insubordinate conduct (there are a couple of douchebag moderators that had a hard-on for my ascerbic wit and inability to steer clear of the pea-brained adolescents that littered the forum.) So, I've decided to create my own world, and if you care to read me, thanks. |
