| Introduction | I am the mother of 6 gorgeous children. Working on my second marriage to the dreamiest, most absolutely perfect man for me. Our life isn't perfect, being a blended family is definitely a challenge at times but honestly I wouldn't trade it away for anything in the world. I am from Montana originally. I grew up mostly in Anchorage, Alaska. I grew up in a family with 6 sisters and just our mother. We learned early on how to work with what we've got, and take what we get or go without. |
| Interests | I hope that through writing my blog I will be able to write about the things that are near, and tender to my heart. Some of the topics I intend to write about are as follows.Using and reusing what you have, homemade and handmade is better, attachment parenting, baby wearing, I love being barefoot, choices in birth, body image, not leaving it to others to raise my family, breastfeeding whenever and as long as you want, cloth diapers, daily life, feminism (right to choose for ourselves), foods and recipes (lots of them I hope), gospel, green, natural living, nurse-in, positive parenting, Positive co-parenting, living in a blended family, personal reflection, postpartum, pregnancy, unassisted / options childbirth, taking birth out of the hospital, unassisted pregnancy, natural pregnancy, EMPOWERING yourself through VBAC. Taking back your right to choose for your self. And not being railroaded into something by others using scare tactics, Self driven education or as some call it unschooling, Delaying and only using vaccinations after understanding not just because someone thinks I should. |
