Introduction Jill Althouse-Wood, author of the novel SUMMERS AT BLUE LAKE, is both a writer and an artist. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Delaware. Before quitting her job to make art and meaning, Jill worked for 15 years as a fabric designer. She began writing as a way to express herself creatively in balance with her day job and raising a family. Jill has combined her love of the visual and the verbal in the workshops she implements on creativity and life journaling. An expert on the subject of creative journaling, Jill has appeared on television and has presented her workshops in places such as schools, libraries, yoga centers, women's shelters, and community centers. Jill's paintings have found audiences (and buyers!) in Pennsylvania galleries including Red Raven in Lancaster and Gallery Piquel in New Hope. Since 2013, Jill lives, writes, and paints in her home in the intentional community of Arden, DE. http://www.jillalthousewood.com
