| Introduction | I started the 2011 new year with 20/30 vision due to the PRK surgery. No more contacts, no more glasses! Between January and May, my eyes will fine tune to approximately 20/15 - better than perfect. I begin my travels in May with new eyes sharper than ever. I will no longer have to see the world through a lens. I will experience the world, starting with Turkey, and then Israel, Oxford University, and Western Europe. Technically California is not studying abroad, but compared to Texas, it should be! January through May of 2011 will be spent in California, and December of 2011 in Texas. Not to mention I turn 21 in Barcelona in November! What a year to come. 2012, if the world doesn't end, my first two decades of life will. |
