Introduction	I am a writer and business adviser. I co-founded a retail and internet business and raised finance from private investors through a tax efficient Enterprise Investment Scheme. So know what it is like at the sharp end. What I write in this blog is not some theory but based on real experience. I had worked in venture capital early in my career and so I knew what needed to be in a business plan. And I worked for big companies as Director of Business Development, so I have direct experience of acquisitions and disposals, of budgeting and business planning processes.
