Introduction	I am a former newspaper reporter and editor, but I have been involved in book publishing for the past 16 years. My wife, Corliss, and I have four grown children, the youngest of which is finishing his senior year in college.
Interests	My interests are Jesus, family, publishing, ministry, writing, sports (primarily basketball),travel, art
Favorite movies	Some movies I have enjoyed recently are The Great Debaters, Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2, Radio, Beyond the Gates, Tristan & Isolde, The Last King of Scotland, Facing the Giants, The Gladiator, The Book of Eli, and The Karate Kid (remake).
Favorite music	Some of my favorite "classical" pieces are Debussy's "Clair de Lune," and Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez." I am also partial to the Baroque composers Telemann, Vivaldi, Mozart, and to Beethoven. I used to be a big jazz fan, but that was more than 30 years ago. At that time I loved The Three Sounds, Gerald Wilson's Big Band, John Coltrane's "My Favorite Things," and much of Miles Davis, especially "Sketches of Spain." Of course, Coltrane and Davis are long gone, and I'm not sure about members of The Three Sounds. Gerald Wilson has hung up his baton, I think.
Favorite books	The Holy Bible, Noah's Three Sons, Grapes of Wrath, The Autobiography of Malcolm X, Roots.
